"People and animals outdoors will be injured," meteorologists state in the warning. "Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings."

Meteorologists state in the warning that the storm is moving southeast at about 20 mph.

Areas not affected by the warning in eastern Oklahoma remain at "an elevated risk of severe thunderstorms" throughout Monday evening, according to the weather service. Most severe weather is expected to be concentrated along and west of U.S. 75.
